U-PET preform system is an energy efficiency, reliable performance and low-cost maintainance solution. The system has various capabilities, and is available in five models: U-PET 500/8000, U-PET 400/5000, U-PET 300/5000. U-PET 230/3000 and U-PET 130/1400.

U-PET preform system includes hot runner, mold, machine, robot and post-mold cooling, are engineered and manufactured by Unique and designed particularly to work together as a fully integrated workcell to achieve the industry’s highest levels of PET preform productivity and top PET preform quality, bring you the perfect cost-efficient solutions under the minimizing cycle times and maximizing output.

Application

Clamping Unit

- Five-point type inclined hinge which has excellent kinetic characteristic and mechanical property.

- Increase the rigidity and reduce the deflection of moud plate, improve the moving speed and stability.

- Wide distance between tie bars enables bigger mould cativity; fully closed-loop control system and MOOG servo valve for mold clocking, opening and closing feature precise control and stable running.

- The mold opening and closing idle loop is only 1.8s

Injection Unit

According to the unique processing condition of PET preform manufacturing, we adopt two stages injection for large tonnage machine, and single stage injection for smaller system.Two stage injection separates the plasticizing and injection operation, not only increasing the plasticizing rate, shortening the molding cycle, enhancing the injection accuracy, but also effectively lower the AA level. The screw has been specially designed to work with the dedicated motor with low turning speed but high torque.Single stage makes use of servo motor for plasticizing and at same time utilizing a special holding process, fulfilling a rapid plasticizing and maintaining a good processing condition of resin.

Robot

Side-entry 3 position take-out plate with cooling promotes an effective cooling of preform. The use of linear bearings guarantees the accuracy of the robot movement, also providing a more convenient maintenance space. Modular conveying unit makes maintenance easier. The Siemens servo control unit can be integrated with the overall Siemen PLC control system, resulting in a convenient operating experience, and a stable control system.

Control System

Working with Siemens latest technology, we developed our own control system which have been taken full consideration of the PET process requirement. It incorporates the closed-loop control of injection speed & holding pressure. Operators can be assigned with different operation right, restricting the acess f advanced setting to dedicate person, assuring the good control of production quality. The dryer system is also connected with the machine control system. making it easier to manage.
